“European Belarus” activists continue hunger strike of solidarity with Mikalai Autukhovich

New activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” join the relay hunger strike of solidarity with the arrested entrepreneur.

On July 9, “European Belarus” activist from Barysau Aleh Haravy went on 7-day hunger strike. Youth activist from Lida Alyaksandra Yakubouskaya was on one-week strike before. Dozens activists of “European Belarus” took part in the hunger strike of solidarity. They have been holding a relay hunger strike to support Mikalai Autukhovich, Yury Lyavonau, and Uladzimir Asipenka for more than a month.

Mikalai Autukhovich has been on hunger strike since April 16. The political prisoner protests against criminal persecution and demand either to send the case to court or to release him on his own recognizance. The political prisoner also demands to release Yury Lyavonau and Uladzimir Asipenka, involved in the same case.
