Ukrainian companies Obolon and Slavutich Carlsberg Group have suspended supplies.
These companies hold 90% of the whole volume of Ukrainian beer export to Belarus.
The reason is problems of the Belarusian distributor of Ukrainian beer – Aramis and Co, newspaper “Delo” reports.
Export manager of Slavutich Carlsberg Group Roman Bondar says the company made the last shipping in the middle of August.
So, Aramis and Co had to re-register due to a great number of audits of distributors by the authorities. “We plan to end re-executing of all necessary documents by the end of September and receive new certificates,” Bondar says. According to him, supplies must be resumed in late September.
According to the State Statistics Committee, more than 2.2mln decalitres have been exported to Belarus over six months of year 2009. “Last year, Slavutich Carlsberg Group exported 700,000 decalitresto our neighbour. We planned to sell 1mln this year, but we haven’t probably reached this perfomance,” Bondar said. According to him, the company plans to preserve the last year export volume – 700,000 decalitres.
Obolon company accounts for 75% of the Ukrainian beer delivered to Belarus.
