Martynau’s visit to Warsaw postponed

A visit if the Belarusian Foreign Minister Syarhei Martynau to Warsaw scheduled for January 15 has been postponed until the beginning of February.

This is reported by Radio Racyja with a reference to the spokesman of the Belarusian Embassy in Warsaw.

The delay is officially explained with improving some technical points in the local border traffic agreement, which is to be signed by the foreign ministries of the two countries.

“The visit has been postponed in order Belarus to be able to approve all items of the agreement, because Poland proposed several technical amendments to the document. If Martynau arrives, the agreement will be signed, I hope,” Alyaksei Zelyanko, spokesman for the Belarusian Embassy, said.
