The Belarusian law-enforcement agencies are looking for malefactors who threw Molotov cocktails at the KGB department in Babruisk (Mahilou region).

“Two petrol bombs were thrown at the KGB department in Babruisk. Nobody was injured. A criminal case over hooliganism was initiated, malefactors are being looked for,” Interfax-Zapad news agency learnt from the department of internal affairs in Babruisk.

As the department said: “Parts of petrol bombs found on the scene of event were sent to examination.” “We work out all versions in the criminal case initiated under the article “Hooliganism” of the Criminal Code of Belarus. We also consider an opportunity of the links between the persons who committed this crime and those who threw Molotov cocktails at the Russian embassy in Minsk in late August 2010,” the department of internal affairs of Babtuisk said.

As the news agency reported earlier, the anarchists claimed responsibility for an attack on the Russian embassy in Minsk. The militia opened a criminal case over hooliganism. Two persons were questioned as witnesses, but no one has been detained so far.
