Belarusian officials complain at discrimination by Russia

The Russian Federation imposes the largest number of safeguard measures in trade against Belarus.

This statemtn was made by Belarusian deputy foreign minister Andrei Yeudachenka at a press conference in Minsk, Interfax-Zapad reports.

“27 safeguard measures, including 9 anti-dumping ones, are used against Belarus. Russia has applied the largest number of them, 11,” Yeudachenka said.

He also said that Ukraine uses five safeguard measures against Belarus, the European Union – 4, the USA and India use two safeguard measures against Belarusian goods each, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan apply one measure each.
