Police officers pounded on the apartment door of Halina Syamdzyanava during the night

The Chairman of the Auditing Commission of the BPF party believes that the incident occurred because of her membership in the city election commission.

Halina Syamdzyanava filed a complaint to the head of the Minsk city police, “Radio Svaboda” reports.

She reported that about two o’clock in the morning the unknown began to ring and knock on the door, demanding that she let them into the apartment. They said they were police officers and threatened to break down the door. They did not respond why they needed to visit the apartment owner at night.

Halina Syamdzyanava – is a member of the Minsk city election commission and the chairman of the Auditing Commission of the BPF party. She believes that the incident occurred because of her membership in the Election Commission. Syamdzyanava also said that earlier, when she participated in election campaigns, the unknown also rang and knocked on the door during the night, threatening to break into the apartment.

Halina Syamdzyanava informed the Chairman of the Election Commission Ihar Karpenka about the incident.
