Independent newspaper was not included in the subscription catalog

Baranavichy independent newspaper “Intex-press” was again rejected for inclusion in the publication in a subscription catalog of “Belposhta”.

In October, “Publishing House “Intex-Press” Ltd. once again appealed to the Republican Unitary Enterprise of the postal service “Belposhta” requesting the inclusion of the newspaper “Intex-press” in the subscription catalog for the first half of 2011, the press service of the BAJ reports.

And once again a standard refusal with reference to freedom of contract was obtained. “Belposhta” considers it inappropriate to include in the subscription catalog the newspapers “Intex-press” with stuffers (advertising stuffer and TV stuffer “Intex-press, plus”)” – it is said in the reply dated Nov. 16 signed by the Deputy General Director for Operations I.I. Saksonava.

Newspaper “Intex-press”, along with other independent publications was excluded from the catalog of “Belposhta” and the distribution system of “Sayuzdruk” on the eve of the year of 2006. Unlike many newspapers, which eventually returned to the state system, any relief in respect of “Intex-press” exists.

The newspaper was founded in 1994. Today its circulation is 20,000 copies.
