“Stability” according to Lukashenka (Video)

It means a steady increase in prices, a stable impoverishment of the population, the stable growth of prisoners and law enforcement apparatus.

Films “Belarusian Stability” were made by Polish “Zvyaz u padtrymku demakratyі u Belarusi” (“Union for support of Democracy in Belarus”).

Video is accompanied by the words:

“Ideologeme “stability” – is the base of propaganda of Lukashenka’s regime. Stability – is one of the few values, which an average citizen of Belarus cares about and is most afraid of losing it. Under the stability one understands the availability of work, a small but certain income, lack of political scandals, confidence that life will not change. But in fact, the stability offered by the authorities, does not look as much indestructible. In this series real trends in the life of Belarus are shown: stable housing and communal problems, stable prices, steady deepening of the problems of alcoholism, the stable growth of the prisoners and law enforcement apparatus, steady destruction of the Belarusian language and culture”.
