The Central Election Commission agreed to one methodological correction out of the package of suggestions.

Suggestions in a form of six resolution drafts of the Central Election Commission were directed to the CEC on October, 19, BelaPAN transmits.

The first resolution draft stipulates the formation of the district electoral commissions in first turn from political parties.

The second one concerns the holding of the pre-election agitation and meetings of presidential candidates with voters. “For Fair Elections” campaign suggests to give all presidential candidates the equal right to simultaneously participate in all meetings with voters independently of the fact who organizes these meetings etc.

In the third resolution draft the order of using state media while preparing and holding the elections is explained.

The fourth resolution draft stipulates granting an observer the right to be present on Election Day in the premises for voting from the moment of sealing of ballot-boxes till the end of summing up the results of the voting. Meanwhile, an observer has the right to be at such a place from which she/he can see the contents of a ballot paper during the vote counting.

The fifth resolution draft explains the order of vote counting at a polling station.

The last draft concerns general requirements to a ballot paper.

CEC agreed to make only one correction in the methodological recommendations according to which observers “are granted a possibility of observation providing the visibility of vote counting”.
