Wikileaks has 1878 secret diplomatic telegrams concerning Belarus

The telegrams are to provide extremely interesting facts about the situation in Belarus, stated by American diplomats.

Wikileaks promises, that every country will see real relations of its government with the USA. But its public disclosure will take months: telegrams are published in portions, “Euroradio” reports.

“Telegrams are the most important solid historical archive, containing information on various world issues, geopolitics and democracy, human rights and supremacy of law, national resources and world trade”, Wikileaks website reports.

Let’s recall, that Wikileaks started to publish texts of secret messages of American diplomats, sent from 274 embassies from the whole world. The telegrams include orders from State department (the counterpart of Ministry of Foreign Affairs), as well as reports of embassies about local governments.

Wikileaks archive contains 251.287 telegrams, sent within the period from December 1966 till February 28, 2010. To compare: concerning Ukraine there is the same quantity of telegrams as concerning Belarus — 1878, concerning Poland — 1175, Russia — 6999.
