Exhibition of Valeryja Krasouskaya in Amsterdam (Photo)

An exhibition of the daughter of the abducted businessman and public leader Anatol Krasouski has opened in Amsterdam gallery of modern art Delicatessen.

At the exhibition of the Belarusian artist which is to last till the end of February, several dozens of her recent works are displayed, including landscapes of Belarus “Give me strength, my native land”, “Hope” and others. Last year paintings of Valeryja Krasouskaya were exhibited in Strasbourg, Radio Svaboda infroms.

We remind that Valeryja Krasouskaya’s father, Anatol Krasouski, was kidnapped and murdered in Belarus in 1999 together with Vice Speaker of the Supreme Soviet of Belarus Viktar Hanchar. In the same period of time in Belarus ex-minister of the Interior Affairs Yury Zakharanka and journalist Zmitser Zavadski disappeared. The international community suspects high-ranking Belarusian officials in implication in murders and abductions of the oppositionists.
