Belarusian interior minister leaves for UAE

Minister of internal affairs of Belarus Anatol Kulyashou started his visit to the United Arab Emirates on February 24.

As BelaPAN learnt from the interior ministry, Kulyashou is expected to hold negotiations in the UAE government and Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Kulyashou’s visit lasts until February 27.

We remind that Alyaksandr Lukashenka appointed militia Major General Kulyashou head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on June 2, 2009. The new minister, as his predecessor Uladzimir Navumau, continues to use riot militia to disperse peaceful opposition demonstrations in Belarus.
