Youth leader Ivan Shyla detained in Salihorsk

One of Young Front leaders was detained in the building of the Salihorsk district executive committee.

Ivan Shyla came to session of the commission for formation polling station commissions at local councils elections. Ivan Shyla is the head of Alyaksei Valabueu’s initiative group.

At first eh waited for head of the ideology department Anatol Kazakevich to tell him about time and place of the session. Then the militia arrived. The activist was detained by four militiamen. Militiamen said Ivan Shyla was detained for identification, but later accused him of hanging out a banner.

The oppositionist was set free just after session on formation of polling station commissions had finished.
