Anton Nazarenka from Homel, a Young Front member and second year student of Law Faculty at Homel State University), was called in for a conversation with KGB officers on May 20.

Euroradio learnt this from Stanislau Stesik, the Young Front spokesman.

“When he was at university, he was called to the dean’s office for a conversation with KGB officers. The conversation took place in the subdean’s office, without presence of the university staff. There only he and two KGB officers,” the activist said.

The KGB officers asked about Young Front’s activity in Homel. The guy refused to tell anything unless a summons was handed in or a certificate was shown. The people just said they were KGB officers and began threatening with problems in study if the activist wouldn’t speak.

Anton Nazaranka was detained in April 26 and fined 600,000 rubles on May 19 for spreading Young Front propaganda materials.
