Young Front activist sent to serve in Special Forces

One Young Front member has left the service in the army, and another has joined the army.

On July 30 chairman of Mahilyou branch of the Young Front Stanilsau Ramanovich was sent to serve in the special task force unit near Minsk. The young man was recently operated, but the military enlistment office refused a deferment to him.

In a few weeks Ramanovich is to take the oath. Earlier he was a university student, he was expelled on political reasons, but officially “for academic failure” and lost a possibility to have a deferment during the period of study.

As informed by the press service of the Young Front, recently the guy had undergone an operation of his arm, he had a hygroma. Health experts say that he should be given a deferment for 3-6 months because of that. Physical activity is forbidden for him, as the swelling might appear again.
