Gas price increases for legal persons and businessman in Belarus

The gas price for individual entrepreneurs and legal persons rises by 13.2% on August 11.

Such a decision was taken by resolution #122 of the Ministry of Economy of August 5, 2010, On Amendments to resolution #39 of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus of February 18, 2010, BelTA news agency learnt from the Ministry’s press service.

The growth of rates is caused by the increased price of purchasing Russian natural gas and new general economic conditions for legal persons and individual entrepreneurs in the country.

Besides, gas prices for family-type children's homes, children’s villages (towns) remain at the same level with population to provide more favourable conditions for these institutions.

Taking into account that consumers will pay for the August gas supplies only in September, the new prices are set up on August 11, 2010, the Ministry of Economy notes.
