Causes of German pilot’s death in Belarus ascertained but not disclosed

Family of the German pilot Guenter Zimmer who had crashed near Minsk received his medical certificate of death.

BelaPAN has been informed about that by the State Service of Medical Forensic Examination of Minsk region.

Representatives of the Belarusian Military Prosecutor’s Office and German Embassy in Minsk have familiarized themselves with the death certificate.

As said by the interlocutor of the agency, everything that medicolegists needed to do at the first stage of investigation has been done expeditiously. However expert examination is to be continued to answer all the questions posed by investigation.

In the document received by the family reasons of Guenter Zimmer’s death are stated, however the interlocutor of the agency refused to tell them.

The position of the Belarusian Ministry Prosecutor’s Office is the same. They stated that before the end of investigation no information about the crash would be provided.
