Attempt to robe bank in Minsk

A 32-year-old man tried to robe Moskva-Minsk Bank department in Labanka Street in Minsk in the evening.

The malefactor put on a mask and gloves and hid in the building. After the work day had ended and bank officers locked the door from inside, he attacked them.

As Belarusian First TV Channel reports, the criminal locked two girls in a toilet. They managed to push the alarm button. A minute later, the militia arrived on the site and detained the robber. A criminal case over large-scale robbery was initiated against the man. He may face up to ten years in prison.
