Russia again impedes Lukashenka

Belarusian dictator stated that Kremlin impedes his projects on alternative deliveries of oil and gas.
“We are to look for an alternative. We have found the alternative, but all who does not want it are standing in our way”, - stated Alyaksandr Lukashenka, speaking on Thursday at the congress of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (FPB), “Interfax-West” reports.
“We found the ways of cheap deliveries of oil and gas to Belarus. And a well-known external lever has switched on”, - Belarusian governor said.
According to his words, “the tubing is empty, it is out of operation, but it is blocked on deliveries of hydrocarbonic raw materials”. Moreover, he continued, “you know in whose hands the existing gas and oil arteries of the former Soviet Union are”.
In this connection, Lukashenka underlined, that “we are to establish our arteries, but to escape the dependence, if we want to be a state”. “It costs a lot, but I told you earlier, that independence and sovereignty cost a lot”, - he marked.
“I know personally, what a civil society should be”
“I set a task, let social organizations and parties stew in their own juice, if one can say so. Everything should crystallize out by its own means”, - Lukashenka also marked at the FPB congress.
As far as the public association “Belaya Rus” is concerned, he noted that he always warned that this organization should not be “a haven for officials”. Meanwhile he underlined, that the state is on friendly terms with parties which are “normally inclined” in Belarus.
At the same time he noted that these pillars “are the grounds of civil society in Belarus”. “One should not invent and plant theses from abroad, about what kind of a civil society should be”, - Lukashenka underlined.
