Borodin’s spokesperson to remind dictator about political prisoners’ 3-year-old son

The spokesperson of Pavel Borodin is to remind about the 3-year-old son of political prisoners at Lukashenka’s inauguration.

The Russian side is to raise the issue of 3-year-old son of “Novaya gazeta” personal correspondent Iryna Khalip and a presidential candidate in Belarus Andrei Sannikov, Danila, who has been separated from parents, said Ivan Makushok, the spokesperson of the State Secretary of the “union” of Russia and Belarus Pavel Borodin in a live broadcast of Echo of Moscow radio station.

“The inauguration of the president of Belarus is to take place on January 21. I will be able to meet with the people who concern themselves among other things with this issue. And I swear that I will communicate this request,” Makushok said.

We remind that Iryna Khalip’s parents have started a procedure of formalizing child custody over their 3-year-old grandson. “Representatives of guardianship and wardship authority visited the kindergarten where Danila, Iryna’s son stayed, and asked about the child, and we were recommended to formalize long-term placement”, the father of the journalist Uladzimir Khalip told in December. “The trial has not been held still, investigation has not been held, their guilt not proved, however guardianship authority started to make inquiries about the child – it is insolence on the part of the regime.”
