Has KGB recollected Aleh Byabenin?

The KGB summons for interrogation a journalist of Belsat TV channel, who is making a film about murdered journalists.

Viktoryja Kolchyna was summoned for interrogation to the KGB on January 6 at the noon. She was explained that they want to “speak about Zmitser Bandarenka” with her.

Zmitser Bandarenka is an election agent of Andrei Sannikov, and Alh Byabenin’s friend. He was arrested on December 20 overnight and is kept in the KGB pre-trial detention centre now.

Accroding to charter97.org, right after the reprisal against peaceful demonstrators protesting against the election fraud and rigged election results, the prosecutor’s office started additional investigation in the fact of death of charter97.org website founder, Aleh Byabenin (Bebenin). This time an attempt was made to open a criminal case under Article 145 “Incitement to suicide”.

However, as Interfax-Zapad agency was told on January 5 by assistant prosecutor of Minsk region Tatsyana Kalinina, “prosecution upon the fact of Aleh Byabenin’s death was denied again.”

We remind that on September 3 the body of the oppositional journalist Aleh Byabenin was found hanged in his summer house near Minsk. Friends and relatives have doubts about the official story of the “suicide”, and demand independent and full investigation of the death of the leading oppositional website’s founder and director.
