Belarusian ruble not just falling, it crashing down

The exchange rate of the Belarusian ruble to the dollar and euro is growing by several hundreds of rubles every day.

Minsk banks offer the following exchange rates on October 14.

The maximum purchasing rate of the dollar increased by 200 rubles reaching 9,200 rubles while the minimum selling rate grew by 300 ruble to 9,300 rubles.

The maximum purchasing rate of the euro grew by 340 rubles to 12,600 rubles; the minimum selling rate went up by 300 ruble to 12,700 rubles.

Yesterday, October 13, the maximum buying rate of the US dollar jumped by 650 rubles to 9,000 and the minimum selling rate rose by 600 rubles to 9,050 rubles. The maximum purchasing rate of the euro soared by 830 rubles to 12,260; the minimum selling rate increased by 1,280 to 12,480 rubles.
