Minsk ideologists scare people ahead of gay festival (Photo)

A Minsk dweller sent BelaPAN news agency a copy of an appeal of the Leninski district authorities pasted on the advertising board near her house on 8, Rybalka Street.

The city district authorities remind people that “homosexuals and lesbians are holding a festival titled Gay Pride 2011” from October 11 to October 23.

As the district authorities note, “there were cases when, being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, participants of the event committed illegal acts, including those of sexual character, in relation to minors”.

The district authorities call to be vigilant and “do not leave children unattended and prevent them from being out at night time”.
