Belarus’s gold and foreign currency reserves down 13.7% in past month

Gold and foreign currency reserves of Belarus fell by 13.7% only in the past month.

According to the national preliminary data, as of February 1, 2011, the volume of international reserve assets of the Republic of Belarus was $5579.5mn. It reduced by $575.8mn (9.4%) in the past month.

According to the IMF Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS), the international reserve assets fell by $687.7mn (13.7%) for the same period reaching $4343mn on February 1, 2011.
