Easter cards for political prisoners from “the senior Belarusian of all Belarusians worldwide”

Recently activists of “European Belarus” civil campaign have visited a famous Belarusian living abroad, Barys Kit.

The well-known son of the Belarusian land lives in lives in Germany’s Frankfurt am Main now.

The activists presented to Barys Kit a book by Mikalai Khalezin “One of us”. It tells about famous Belarusians of the world, and Barys Kit is among them certainly.

Barys Kit was told about court trials over pro-democracy activists. Barys Kit himself was a dissenter, and he served a prison term three times. Once he was kept in a death ward him during the Nazi invasion.

The famous Belarusian told to convey his words of support to Andrei Sannikov, Zmitser Bandarenka, Alyaksandr Atroshchankau, and other political prisoners. He hopes that the time will come to Belarus when they would be released, and our country would turn into a really European country.
