Belarus waiting in line for EurAsEC loan

The EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund is giving consideration to funding projects applications for $4.7 billion.

It has been stated by the secretary of the organization Murat Musataev, Prime-TASS informs.

As said by him, at the moment the fund is considering applications received from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Armenia.

Musataev has also noted that a number of projects have been already financed by the Eurasian Development bank and the Anti-Crisis Fund of High Technologies Fund of the EurAsEC. The total amount of investment, according to the secretary of the organization, is $2.7 billion.

“Projects for the total sum of $13.5 billion are at the stage of consideration,” Musataev said.

We remind that Belarus had addressed the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund with a request for a $2 billion loan.
