Italia puts business interests before human rights?

The Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Syarhei Martynau, paid a visit to Italy on Friday, where he met with his Italian counterpart Franco Frattini.
The ministers are reported to have discussed Belarus-EU dialogue at the meeting in Trieste.
The ministers also signed a range of agreements on bilateral cooperation, among them creating favourable conditions for Italian businessmen in the “Italian industrial area” in the Brest region, BelaPAN informs.
There is no information about statements by the Italian Foreign Minister on human rights situation in Belarus and over 30 political prisoners in the country.
