Journalist Andrzej Pisalnik said that Igor Bazncer, an activist of the Union of Poles in Belarus, was sentenced to five days of arrest.

Bancer was found guilty in disorderly conduct. The case against him was heard in a police department “Centre”. Bancer’s relatives and journalists were not allowed to enter the building, because a police department was a secure facility, policemen explained. Only Bancer’s lawyer Uladzimir Kiselevich could attend the trial. As PIsalnik noted in an interview to BelaPAN, it was a closed-doors trial in fact.

We remind that Bancer was detained on early morning of June 14. There was no information about the reasons for the detention and his location. It became known only in the evening of June 14 that Bancer was accused of disorderly conduct.
