Police looks for a whipping boy in Nyaklyaeu’s case

The prosecutor’s office of Minsk extended until July 4 the inquiry into a case over beating former presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu.
“They are looking for a whipping boy,” Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu commented on the situation.
“I have received a notice from the Minsk Prosecutor’s Office. ‘A period of inquiry in connection with your injuries has been extended by the first deputy prosecutor of Minsk until 4.07.2011. You will be notified about the results. Signature – Yermakou, prosecutor’. They do not do anything, but continue these endless inquiries. It may happpen so that I will have to agree that I injured myself by hitting my head against the car” the poet told “Belorusski Partizan”.
The inquiry has been held for third months – from April to July.
