4 persons detained at Stop Petrol rally

At least 4 persons were arrested during the protest “Stop Petrol” in Minsk.

They were taken to the police department of Central district of Minsk. Reports for petty hooliganism were drawn up against them (Article 17.1 of the Administrative Code), Vyasna human rights centre informs.

The names of the arrested are: Dzmitry Hrynkevich, Yauhen Sajchuk, Ihar Byalou and Yuliya Labatsevich. Dzmitry Hrynkevich told that first his car was stopped, and his driver’s licence seized. He was ordered to drive towards Victory Square. There the unknown in mufti seized his car key and drove to Yanka Kupala park. From that place the detainees were taken to the police department of Central district.
