About 600 personal guarantees for Ales Byalyatski’s release collected already

People sign the guarantees willingly. They are mostly public activists and those who applied for legal assistance to the human rights defence organisations.

The European Radio for Belarus has been informed about that by a human rights activist from Mahilyou Alyaksei Kolchyn.

As said by Kolchyn, very few people refuse when they offered to sign a petition for Ales Byalyatski’s release. Collection of personal guarantees in Mahilyou, like all over the country, goes on. They are collected by human rights activists, activists of the Belarusian Association of Journalists. Different organisations have collected 600 petitions already.

We remind that on August 12 it was informed that the term of incarceration for the well-known human rights activist was extended for 2 more months. He is charged with large-scale tax evasion.
