Kolya Lukashenka to study in elite school in Minsk suburb

The illegitimate son of the Belarusian dictator will study in a secondary school in a small town Astrashytski Haradok in the Minsk district.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka is expected to accompany his son Mikalai at the back-to-school meeting in a secondary school in Astrashytski Haradok, Interfax-Zapad news agency reports. He is expected to address the schoolchildren. After that a theatre performance is planned.
According to the 43 first-year pupils of the school will be presented a cake from labour collectives of the Minsk region.
It is planned that Lukashenka will have a look at educational and sports facilities of the school. In particular, the head of state will visit a information and methodology office, class rooms and a gym, his press service reports. He will also see a swimming-pool and a stadium.
The secondary school in Astrashytski Haradok was founded in 1863. The educational institution was called a public school in 1875 providing education for 40 students. The school was given a status of a territorial elementary school in 1917 and became a seven-year rural school in 1934. it was turned into a secondary school in 1941. The school moved into a new three-storey building in 1982. The school has recently been upgraded, which cost 14 billion Belarusian rubles.
