Silent protests return

The group “Revolution by social networks” plans to hold silent protests on central squares of Belarusian cities.

Organizers call on Minsk dwellers to gather on Independence Avenue between Minsk Hotel and October Square at 7:00 pm on September 21.

Organizers call to gather in the city centre, walk and not to provoke police, but resist actively if plainclothes policemen try to detain people.

Silent protest will also be held on central squares in Hrodna, Brest, Mahilou, Vitsebsk, Homel, Baranavichy, Babruisk, Barysau, Braslau, Bykhau, Vetka, Vaukavysk, Horki, Zhlobin, Kalinkavichy, Kobryn, Lida, Luninets, Mozyr, Maladzechna, Nyasvizh, Navahrudak, Navapolatsk, Orsha, Pinsk, Polatsk, Rechytsa, Svetlahorsk, Slonim, Slutsk, Smarhon, Salihorsk, Khoiniki, Shklou and other towns.
