Activists remind Hrodna dwellers about political prisoners (Photo)

Activists of European Belarus civil campaign in Hrodna held an action of solidarity with Belarusian prisoners of the regime.

Activists were handing out booklets with information about Belarusian political prisoners on one of the city’s markets, the press service of European Belarus campaign reports.

“In spite of severe cold, a lot of people showed interest in the information, many of them stopped to ask about political prisoners in general and particular people,” one of the activists said.

It should be reminded that 17 people convicted on politically motivated grounds still remain in prison.
