Lukashenka has not pardoned Kanavalau and Kavalyou

The Belarusian dictator has adopted a decision not to pardon sentenced to death Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou.
“Lukashenka decided against the pardon of Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou (Dmitry Konovalov and Vladislav Kovalev) in view of a high social danger of the criminals, and drastic consequences for the society of the terrorist acts and crimes which cuased murder of great number of people and numerous injuries,” Belarus-1 TV Channel reports.
We remind that Dzmitry Kanavalau and Uladzislau Kavalyou were sentenced to death penalty for terrorism. On April 11, 2011 an improvised explosive device blasted at Kastrychnitskaya metro station. 11 persons were killed at once, four died in hospitals. More than 300 persons were injured. Kavalyou was convicted for implication in terrorism. According to investigators, he knew about preparation of the terrorist attacks, but did not inform authorities about that. During the trial Kavalyou pleaded not guilty.
