A member of the “house of representatives” finds good an initiative of punishing parties for calls to impose sanctions.

BelaPAN news agency has learned it deputy head of Belaya Rus association Alyaksandr Shatko.

We remind the appropriate proposal was made last week by heads of the regional branches of the association.

“Suspension of activity of the party, which leaders call to impose sanctions on the Republic of Bekarus can be an effective measure. This is not a new practice. Legislation of Russia and Kazakhstan contains this measure,” a representative of a Belaya Rus office in one of the Minsk districts said on the air of Belarus-1 TV channel on April 5.

“I think this initiative is good, right and well-timed. There must be a reaction to the calls to introduce sanctions. The situation of the conflict with the EU lasts for too long. I think both sides are trying to find a wise 'zero option' to solve the issue,” Shatko said.
