Dzmitryeu, Pashkevich taken into custody for 10 days

The court of the Smalyavichy district heard an administrative case against activists of Tell the Truth civil campaign.
Andrei Dzmitryeu and Mikhail Pashkevich were accused of violating the rules of holding mass events. The accused organized a meeting of summer houses owners in the Smalyavichy district on March 10. They protested against the construction of a Chinese-Belarusian industrial park on the territory of nearby villages, “Nasha Niva” newspaper writes.
A judge of the Smalyavichy district, Alena Misnik, sentenced Andrei Dzmitryeu and Mikhail Pashkevich to 10 days in custody.
We remind a number of activists were detained after a meeting of the head of the Smalyavichy district executive committee and summer residents on April 12, 2012. Dzmitryeu and Pashkevich were among the people detained.
