Activists of Young Front and European Belarus civil campaign reminded Homel dwellers about the kidnapped politician.

Leaflets with a portrait of Yury Zakharanka and words “We remember” were spread across the city on an anniversary of his disappearance, mfront.net reports.

“We decided to remind people about this sad day not only because Yury Zakharnaka was an honest politician and real military man, but because he was born in our region. We should not forget such people. Moreover, the question of punishment of the people guilty of his disappearance is still open,” activists say.
