Singer-songwriters Bartosik and Simbirou detained in Minsk again

On May 8 at 1 p.m. the unknown in mufti detained singers-songwriters Zmitser Bartosik and Ihar Simbirou near Chelyuskintsy Park.

They were forcibly pushed into a black Mercedes. As Simbirou managed to tell on the phone, he is taken to the court of Minsk district and the town of Zaslaul. It is possible that judge Alyaksei Minich decided to continue trying the administrative case, which was rescheduled for May 18. According to unconfirmed reports, Zmitser Bartoski was taken to the police department of Pershamajski district of Minsk, Vyasna human rights centre informs.

We remind that on May 6 in the evening Musicians Zmitser Bartosik and Ihar Simbirou, who were playing an open-air concert near Minsk, as well as other 12 listeners, were detained at Zyalyonaya station. In the police department in Zhdanovichy settlement, policemen drew up a report over an administrative offence against Simbirou. He was charged with insubordination to police and disorderly conduct, cursing and waving hands during the arrest.
