Plane crashed  near Khoiniki

A single-engine aircraft which was cultivating agricultural fields, crashed near the village of Ivanovka in Khoiniki district of Homel voblast.

As a result, an airline pilot, a man born in 1966, died. Causes of the incident are currently being found out.

When crashed, the aircraft cabin was destroyed, while the tail, wings and the fuel tank were damaged, but the fire did not happen. Nevertheless, MES officials created a "foamy cushion" to prevent possible ignition. The killed pilot was removed from the cockpit with hydraulic rescue tools, MES rescuers reported.
