Dictator’s residence constructed under thorough surveillance (Photo)

Rumors about a new residence being built for Lukashenka in Arlouskaya street have been heard in Minsk for while.

Unlike all other construction sites in the city, this construction site is guarded systematically; it is impossible to enter the site without a special permit. The entire site is enclosed by a solid metal fence, surveillance cameras are installed on each pillar - in some places, there are bunches of cameras…

A TUT.BY correspondent could see the mysterious construction site himself.

Every gate is equipped with a barrier and metal towers for the guards; from these towers, the guards can see what’s inside any vehicle driving in or out the site, and examine it carefully. Two fully equipped policemen guard the builders’ checkpoint, instead of a usual elderly porter, or a person from militarized security. Several watchdogs help them guard the site.

Otherwise this is a perfectly normal construction site, but with a rigid discipline. All the builders are sober, fresh and hardworking. Even when it’s raining cats and dogs, the work at the site never stops.

Right now it is hard to guess what the construction object is, but it doesn’t look like another business-center, parking or residential house.
