An activist of the democratic movement works as a simple loader on the factory #4 of “Mogilevhlebprom”. But he already had two meetings with the factory ideologue Drozd.
"On July 11 I was called to the director’s office. Beside director, there also were the head of the shop, senior foreman and the ideologue. The ideologue told me that I’m moving in the wrong direction and doing the wrong things. He said that he knows everything about me, including what I’m doing in my free time”, - tells Vladimir Trizunov.
The activist notes that the ideologue offered him to quit the job on his own and break a contract of employment, but Vladimir refused, writes Human Rights Center “Viasna”.
“The ideologue was saying that democratic leaders use me like a puppet and so earn money. And I am so narrow-minded and do not understand that. Besides, there are, supposedly, complaints on me and nobody wants to work with me”, - adds the activist.
The next meeting of Vladimir Trizunov with the ideologue took place on July 12.
“I came to the meeting armed with an extract from the constitution of the Republic of Belarus and showed the article 4 to the comrade Drozd, according to which democracy in the country is carried out on the basis of the diversity of political institutes, ideologies, and opinions. One ideology cannot be set up for citizens on a mandatory basis.
The ideologue was surprised. However, he said that knows this article of the Constitution. He started again the topic about my dismissal on my own initiative from August 1. He said that he thinks I’m a decent person and that I will quit the job on my own with no problems. He also suggested me to start looking for a new job”, - continues Vladimir Trizunov.
Meanwhile, according to his words, he signed the employment contract for a one year and he’s not going to cancel it on August 1 as Drozd suggested.
“I will not allow to anyone to interfere in my own life, be it Drozd or someone else. I will fight for the last for my Civil Rights, because I do care about my country’s fate and I want it to become truly democratic, whether they like it or not. I will put all my efforts”, - says Vladimir Trizunov.
The activist thinks that the pressure on him is connected with the beginning of the election campaign.
