The issue regarding the exchange of visits at the highest level between Belarus and Ukraine is still on the agenda.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Valentin Velichko told about it.

A suggestion was made to organize working and official visits. This suggestion remains on the agenda. According to the Ambassador, there are a number of problems regarding Belarus-Ukraine relations that can be addressed only by the presidents of the two states. “I think the interest on the part of Ukraine is bigger,” he said.

When asked about the first visit, Valentin Velichko noted: “This visit will be to Kyiv, I suppose.”

At the same time he noted that the two countries maintain regular contacts at different levels. He also said that Belarus’ delegation headed by the First Deputy Industry Minister sets off to Ukraine on 10 July. The delegation includes representatives of major Belarusian enterprises. “So you see, the work never stops,” he added.
