  • 9.07.2012, 13:24

The authorities demand to increase the share of Belarusian products in the total volume of Belarusian trade turnover up to 86%.

Minsk Businessmen have already shared letters from the district administrations about decorating the outlets and making sales before the Independence Day, writes “Salidarnasc’”.

In less than a week the owners of the shops, including private ones, received new instructions. For this time it is “let’s buy Belarusian”.

“You need to apply effective measures in order to increase the share of Belarusian products in the total volume of trade turnover of provisions up to 86%. You also need to provide the growth of retail volume of turnover and maintain it on the level of 105%”, – is stated in the document.

- It turns out that we have to increase the amount and sell everything, - comments the document the entrepreneur Vladimir, the owner of a small store in one of capital’s trade centers. - So it turns out that it is our fault if products made in Belarus are not sold. Not the manufacturer. If so, then, indeed, why should the manufacturer improve the quality of products when entrepreneurs are forced to sell it?! … One should let officials to send such instructions directly to buyers or hang the sign over the entrance of every outlet: “Buy 10% of Belarusian goods or you won’t go out of the store”.

Earlier Minsk district administrations were “asking” the owners of private shops and entrepreneurs not only to decorate their places for the Independence Day but also to arrange sales and tastings.
