The increase of salaries in the public sector has been postponed from August to September.
Perhaps, the next increase of salaries in the public sector will happen in September, said to the agency "Interfax-West" a source in state agencies.
"Given the slowdown in inflation, the increase the tariff rate of the first class will not happen in August. Most likely, it will happen on September 1", - said the interlocutor.
The press service of the Council of Ministers failed to inform the agency about the Government's decision on the increase or maintain of the tariff rates on August 1.
As reported, the Deputy Finance Minister Maxim Yarmalovich at a press conference on July 25 expressed doubts about the possibility of the increase of the tariff rate on August 1. "It will be known in coming days, when will the next increase of the tariff rate of the first category happen, in August or later, after a decision on the tactics of behavior in terms of increase of the tariff rate of the first class will be taken. Maybe there will be no need to raise wages", - said M.Yarmalovich.
Aliaxandar Lukashenka instructed the government on June 21 to consider the issue on raising the tariff rate of the first class from August 1 and in October of this year.
Meanwhile, from 1 August the government raised tariffs on utility services by 12-29%.
