Disappeared human rights activist found  in detention centre

Alena Kraspuskaya-Kaspyarovich, a deputy director of Platform organization, is in a detention centre in Akrestin Street in Minsk.

Head of Platform organization Andrei Bandarenka received this information from the Partyzanski district police department, Radio Svaboda reports.

Platform members are going to visit the detention centre.

We remind Platform deputy director Alena Krasouskaya-Kasperovich stopped answering phone calls on the evening of July 31.

Platform activists talked to her at 3:30 p.m. On July 31. She then stopped answering her phone. Her whereabouts were unknown.

Alena Krasouskaya-Kaspyarovich did not return home.

Pressure on Platform members has increased recently. The website of the organization was attacked on Monday evening.
