The 4th Congress of Polonia was held in Pultusk on August 24-26
The Congress made representations about human rights violation and discrimination of the members of the Union of Poles in Belarus. The Congress also opposed a new law, which may be adopted in Lithuania, that worsens the opportunity to study in Polish language.
Moreover, the Congress participants urged Polish authorities, Polish diplomatic offices abroad, and the commissions of the Sejm and the Senate, that are dealing with Diaspora’s matters, to “better cooperate with Polish organizations, that protect the good name of Poland and Polish nation,” Rzeczpospolita reports.
