Salihorsk dwellers call to boycott “election” (Photo)

Activists of European Belarus civil campaign took part in a picket organized by democratic candidate Viktar Malochka.

He is nominated by the United Civil Party (UCP), which boycotts the “election”. UCP candidates will withdraw from the “election” ahead of the voting day, ffight.org reports.

Picketers handed out leaflets of independent trade unions and invitations to a meeting with the candidate.

The picket was held under national the EU and national Belarusian flags. Passers-by showed their interest in the pickets. Car and bus drivers stopped to take independent leaflets.
