After recording a video address, he must once again come to the police.
Candidate from the Belarusian Social Democratic Party "Gramada" Leanid Padbiaretski was released from the police to record the TV debates, reports "Radio Svaboda".
As the politician told, he has received a summons. In 18 hours he is required to come again to Leninsky police department of Mogilev. Padbiaretski has not yet been informed about the accusations.
"I was explaining to them that they should call to the district commission and find out there, if my detention is legal. They answered: "We’ll see". When I asked if I come after the recording of the debates, will I be taken to the court? - No, they said, they will sort it themselves, and the administration will decide. I think that they realize that they have got into an unfamiliar situation", - said Leanid Padbiaretski.
Candidate for deputies Leanid Padbiaretski has been detained when he was conducting a campaigning rally in one of the Mogilev district called Solomyanka. He stood with a picket less than half an hour. After that, two policemen at the rank of major, without name badges, arrived and arrested him on the basis that he, supposedly, does not have a permission from the city executive council to hold a picket.
