Every citizen of Minsk has taken $2284 to bank

Minsk and Hrodna region residents became the most reckless banking roulette players - $2284 and $733 in deposits per resident respectively.
Population’s deposits in Belarusian roubles and foreign currency by the state on 1 May 2013 have increased 87790.4 billion Belarusian roubles or around 1070 United States dollars per resident. The information comes from National Bank’s press-service.
Minsk residents were the ones who too most money to banks – 37650.7 billion roubles. The residents of Mahilou region deposited the least – 6728.6 billion roubles.
It is curious, who of the residents of the regions are more venturesome and inclined to play risky games of banking roulette with the state.
In order to find that out we divided the amount of deposits in roubles by the number of the population in Belarusian regions and it turned out that Minsk residents anyway were the once who brought the most savings to banks – one resident account for 198 million Belarusian roubles in deposits. Other regions lag far behind.
The most venturesome out of the residents of the regions were Hrodna region’s people – one resident accounts for 7.4 million Belarusian roubles in deposits. In Viciebsk region – 7.12 million, Homiel region – 7.01 million, Brest region – 6.35 million, Mahilou region – 6.25 million. The most careful are the residents of Minsk region: one resident accounts for the average of only 5.8 million Belarusian roubles on deposit accounts.
